Our History

Minor Moving, established in February of 2000 by Jon Minor, was founded on the premise of providing dedicated quality service to an oversaturated competitive market. Through hard work and customer dedication, Minor Moving was successful in growing its presence in the residential and commercial moving market in Central Texas. Minor Moving has continued to grow by incorporating the same principles the company was founded on by Jon Minor hiring only employees dedicated to “serving the customer”.

In December 2008, Minor Moving’s success attributed to the acquisition of Apple Moving, an Austin icon known for its outstanding reputation and eye catching branding. Apple Moving’s origins reach back to 1991 when the Austin metro area was still a small community. Apple Moving capitalized on Austin’s growth and grew with the ever changing city.

Combined Minor Moving, Apple Moving and Holiday Moving will continue to provide every customer with excellent customer service and dedication whether moving across town, across Texas, across the country, or to any international destination under the Apple Moving name.
