Our History

Minor Moving, established in February of 2000 by Jon Minor, was founded on the premise of providing dedicated quality service to an oversaturated competitive market. Through hard work and customer dedication, Minor Moving was successful in growing its presence in the residential and commercial moving market in Central Texas. Minor Moving has continued to grow by incorporating the same principles the company was founded on by Jon Minor hiring only employees dedicated to “serving the customer”.

In December 2008, Minor Moving’s success attributed to the acquisition of Apple Moving, an Austin icon known for its outstanding reputation and eye catching branding. Apple Moving’s origins reach back to 1991 when the Austin metro area was still a small community. Apple Moving capitalized on Austin’s growth and grew with the ever changing city.

In February 2009, Minor Moving again merged with another renowned moving company Al’s Relocation & Storage due to their dedication to quality and outstanding reputation. In January 2001, two former Allied employees (Al & Suzie) ventured on their own and established Al’s Relocation in Killeen, TX. Al was a veteran driver for Allied Van Lines and Suzie was a veteran in Sales and Dispatch. Al’s proudly serves our Armed forces throughout the Killeen/Temple/Fort Hood area as well as provides local residential and commercial moving services. In addition, Al’s provides intrastate, interstate and international service to the Central Texas area as agents for National Van Lines and American International Van Lines.

Combined Minor Moving, Apple Moving and Al’s Relocation will continue to provide every customer with excellent customer service and dedication whether moving across town, across Texas, across the country, or to any international destination under the Apple Moving name.
